As per her wishes, Linda was cremated and her family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2015, at First Lutheran Church in Chickasha. Linda is survived by her husband Roger Stout of Minco, one son, Howdy Stout and his wife, Tania, of Marlow one daughter Roinda Lisenbe and her husband, Nathan, of Marlow three grandchildren, Nicol, James and Hannah her uncle Jack Day and his wife, Barbara, of Mustang and many other loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother, Lloyd Ray Loving, Jr. Her husband of 50 years, Roger, cared for her in the home until her passing. Diagnosed with cancer in 2012, Linda retained a strong faith in God, never failing to share the Gospel with those around her. She was also an active member of First Lutheran Church in Chickasha. Linda was an avid quilter, participating with local quilting guilds and quilting exhibitions. Eventually, her children also moved to Oklahoma, remaining near during Linda’s last years. Retiring in 2008, Linda and her husband returned to Oklahoma, settling in Minco to care for Linda’s ailing mother. She would remain with the VA for more than 20 years, eventually earning higher degrees through Graceland University in Independence, Missouri, and becoming the VA’s nursing director for southern Oregon. After working for several years in Paris, the family moved to Oregon, where Linda worked for local hospitals before joining the Veterans Administration as a registered nurse at the Roseburg, Oregon, facility. Following the birth of her two children, Linda returned to school to earn her registered nursing degree from the Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas. For the next decade, they worked and lived in various places, including California, Oregon, Nevada, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. While attending high school in a Los Angeles suburb, she met and married Roger Allen Stout on November 25, 1964. The family later moved to Southern California where her father eventually became an Executive with Dresser Industries. Linda was born in her parent’s home in Garvin, Oklahoma, on October 4, 1947, the second of two children and the only daughter of Lloyd Ray Loving and Vernice P. Linda Darnell Stout passed away peacefully Monday, February 23, 2015, in her home in Minco.
